Which harmonic tools are included?
Alongside harmonic charts and arc transforms, you can filter harmonic aspects, track patterns in the Graphic Ephemeris, follow age harmonics, calculate harmonic returns and explore dials and midpoint reports.
Harmonic astrology
Explore the patterns in harmonic charts.
Harmonic astrology studies planetary patterns by dividing the zodiac into equal parts. Solar Fire X supports this approach with harmonic charts, age harmonics, dials and reports.
Harmonic Graphic Ephemeris
One year of planetary motion on a 40° modulus, corresponding to the ninth harmonic.
Explore harmonic patterns
Create a harmonic chart and compare it with the birth chart. Filter aspects by harmonic family to focus on the planetary relationships you want to study.
See patterns unfold over time
Use the Graphic Ephemeris to view planetary movement on a harmonic scale. Follow how the patterns change across a period you choose.
Follow age harmonics
Explore age and age-plus-one harmonics for a selected date, or follow them through time with the forecasting tools.
Explore harmonic returns
Calculate planetary returns at selected harmonics to explore recurring stages within a planetary cycle.
Harmonics · chart example
One year of planetary motion on a 40° modulus, corresponding to the ninth harmonic.
Look closer with dials and midpoint reports
Use harmonic dials and sorted reports to examine connections between chart points. Munkasey’s midpoint weighting analysis adds a structured report for comparing harmonic midpoint connections.
Explore arc transforms
Start with a pair of chart points and create an arc-transform chart to explore their relationship from another perspective.
Questions about harmonic work
Can I compare a harmonic chart with the birth chart?
Yes. Keep the birth chart alongside your harmonic work to compare planetary positions and follow the patterns you’re studying.
Are harmonic charts the same as Vedic divisional charts?
Solar Fire X provides separate harmonic and Vedic divisional-chart calculations, so you can use the approach you practice.
